Loading Page and Main Interface Design for the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design

October 15, 2010

The project was to design a mobile application for the Ernest G. Welch School of Art and Design that would be accessed by prospective students, current students, and alumni. The inspiration for this project came from Ernest G. Welch himself who was an alumni and contributor to the college. I wanted to utilize his name as the mascot for the app and create an avatar to guide and market userability.

  1. Now that’s awesome! To have an app for our school, that’ll definitely get more attention in the art industry for professionals and art students alike. πŸ™‚

Would the app show different works from the school? Just to showcase what the school can offer or has produced in years…however it goes, I know this is going to be awesome! Keep it up Brooke! πŸ™‚

    • Thanks Tres! The app is in planning phases and will hopefully go into implementation. As of now, we are in the design phase and yes, the app would showcase student work, amongst other things such as syllabus search and a facebookesque app that connects prospective, alumni and current students.
